Health & Fitness - An Individual Journey

Health & Fitness - An Individual Journey

Every day you see on social media you see posts and info on what you should and shouldn't do when it comes to eating healthy and keeping fit.

Some say don't eat carbs (which btw I do not agree with), others say do intermittent fasting to gain the lean healthy physique, don't do cardio but just strength training...etc etc.
The list is endless. All of these I don't agree with due to many reasons and personal experiences.

Health and Fitness is NOT a one size fits all method.

What works for one person may not work for another. We all have our own bio individuality and this takes into account the environment we live in, our attitude to life, our lifestyle both professionally and personally as well as our fitness levels and what we eat on a daily basis.

Your entire lifestyle makes up your bio individuality programme and helps YOU decide what is needed to maintain a fit and healthy life.

Yes, it is important to be aware of those foods and health benefits that work in general, but do not force yourself to follow the crowd when you struggle with it in your own journey and in fact you feel worse instead of any better.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle should feel good and should eliminate those symptoms that are causing you pain and making you ill, not increasing them.

Also, if following a particular regime is making you stressed and angry, you definitely need to stop following this regime right now, as stress can have a negative effect on your body and therefore, will not help you gain the positive result you anticipated.

It's time to manage your entire life along with your health and fitness in a way that meets your personal requirements.

Do not follow the masses blindly, but listen to your body and your entire reaction to what you do and what you eat and only do what works for you and leaves you healthier and fitter.

Your health matters, don't neglect it.
